Mini Boeing 737-300, Southwest Airlines

The 737-300 was the first major change of the 737 design, incorporating improvements while also retaining commonality with previous 737. The -300 was launched in 1981 by US Air and Southwest Airlines, becoming the base model of the 737 Classic series. The 300 series remained in production until 1999 when the last aircraft was delivered to Air New Zealand on December 17, 1999.
